Pop Album

Turkish Title: Bambaşka

Translation of Title: Completely Different

Artist: Jay Moussa

Image  Jay Moussa's first solo album, recorded at Paradise Studios in Bodrum some years ago, Bambaşka is a young Turkish girl's expression of her faith in a lively pop/disco style. All songs written and performed by her.

Jay writes: "In 2005, as a nervous young girl, I travelled to Bodrum to make an album. Working together with Rob Fick, with little equipment and even less experience, I recorded enough songs for an album.

"Then we waited and waited. The release of this album 5 years later is both a joyful experience and a strange feeling. I wrote some of the songs on the album when I was just a girl of 18, some od them are more recent.

"In these 5 years my voice has changed, my outlook has changed, my life has changed, my style has changed; I have had bitter moments and sweet moments, my feelings have been sometimes up and sometimes down. There is only thing that has not changed over these 5 years: Jesus Christ.

"I have always felt the faithful, constant presence of my Saviour. He paid the penalty for my sins that I could not pay with my works. My deepest desire is for you, too, to come to him.

"The final sacrifice was given for you :)" Jay Moussa
